A bit more ambitious than my other costumes. And, since comfort is important to me, I opted to do it all with fabric rather than whatever people use for faux-armor in cosplay. I honestly have no idea. All the stiff parts in this (ears, headgear, tail, etc.) are fabric over a wire frame. And yes, I did make the ears myself. =3

This did end up being surprisingly comfortable, aside from the shoes which gave me the most fascinatingly disgusting blisters. On the other hand, it inevitably took some effort getting into. Especially since most of the fastenings are on the back, and doing anything becomes 10x more difficult when you have two inch nails. I had a friend help me with it most of the time.

I love all your cosplays! :heart: It really shows that you've put a lot of effort into making them. :thumbsup:
However, for this one, you should've had you skin tanned a bit. Fran is a Rava (dark-skinned) Viera, you know. :) And something I've noticed in all your cosplays: don't be afraid to use make-up - particularly mascara and eye-shadow - it would really enhance your beautiful face.

I did consider tanning, but in the end I really didn't want to. The only sort of cosmetics I ever use is chapstick and I like to keep it that way. I think before any of that I'd have to start caring about wearing my glasses to cons. >>;

I just meant that you should wear make-up as part of the cosplays, not every-day. Since you've put so much effort into the costumes themselves, you know, to enhance the general impression of your character portrayals. :)
If you need to wear glasses, but don't want to, how about contact lenses? ;D

No, the thing is I don't want to wear make-up even for special occasions, or use contacts. Stubborn of me maybe, but it's a preference.
